It is now five years since the original launch of this WordPress experiment. I n I is as purposed today as I was then, to become a Member of A New Race, which owes allegiance only to the doing of goodness within human family, not to ideology, isms, or schisms.
Today I reaffirm the admonition of the Lion of Judah, Emperor Haile Selassie I, as his words echos through the annals of time, as he admonishes us to assist in the reformulation of our planet and our world. A world that is unfortunately polluted by hatred, selfishness, greed, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and the imposition of international immorality. As our world is confronted with unprecedented challenges let us view, and heed the timeless words of The King of Kings:
“The problems which confront us today are, equally, unprecedented. They have no counterparts in human experience. Men search the pages of history for solutions, for precedents, but there is none.
This then is the ultimate challenge. Where are we to look for our survival, for answers to the questions which have never been posed?
We must look, first, to Almighty God, who has raised man above animals and endowed him with intelligence and reason. We must put faith in Him, that he will not desert us or permit us to destroy humanity which he created in his image.
We must look into ourselves, into the depth of our souls. We must become something we have never been and for which our education and experience and environment have ill prepared us. We must become bigger than we have been, more courageous, greater in spirit, larger in outlook. We must become members of a new race, overcoming petty prejudice, owing our ultimate allegiance not to nations but to our fellow men within the human community”
Today we fulfill our duty in turning the pages on a new era of human history; today I n I refocus self, family, and community in becoming Members of A New Race!!
